Every year we like to award one special teacher who tutors many hours and receives excellent feedback from parents. This teacher is also pleasant for us to work with because he provides complete monthly paperwork on time.

Quote from Happy Gosal:
“I became a teacher after feeling tremendous joy helping students in first and second yearmathematics as a teaching assistant in university. Another source of inspiration was my brilliant high school mathematics teacher Mr. Degroot. We could ask him any question and he would always provide a profound answer. I also love the energy and dynamic nature of the profession in the sense that in any given lesson, there are so many intangibles and unexpected surprises. No matter how much I prepare, I am often amazed by discovering students’ unique talents and abilities. For example, a fifth grade student once shared his in depth knowledge of the inner workings of paper shredders. I was amazed by the level of knowledge he had about this machine, and he was only in fifth grade! Needless to say, we both learned a lot from each other.
I have one simple philosophy in my teaching. Make the student happy, because if the student is happy, he/she will learn better! The happiness then filters down to the entire family, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings!!
In life, I believe in the value of hard work. There may be individuals out there who have more talent than me, perhaps even stronger, but one thing is certain, I will not be outworked by anyone because working hard is the one thing I have that is under my control…and I try to instill this work ethic in thestudents I teach. I believe that if a person works hard good things will happen in his/her life.”
